We’re so happy we chose Chris as our wedding photographer. He captured amazing photos of our big day. I chose to splurge a little on the wedding photographer because a wedding is only one day, but the photos last forever. I’m so glad I did. His style captures the feeling of the day rather than just the staged photos, and that’s what I want to always remember.

He was also very easy going and blended in throughout the day from getting ready to the dancing. My makeup artists even commented that usually wedding photographers are in the way and trying to stage them, and it was great he wasn’t doing that. 1000% recommend.

Amazing photos and a joy to work with!

Chris did a phenomenal job of photographing our wedding. In the months leading up, he took the time to get to know us and what was most important to us. On the day of, Chris showed up early to take photos even before his start time, which was extremely generous of him. Throughout the day, he was so kind to everyone, making our guests feel comfortable and relaxed. At times, we hardly noticed he was there, quietly capturing candid moments. Afterward, Chris delivered our photos within the promised timeline (with sneak peaks before then), and they are absolutely lovely. They are exactly what we were hoping for, and somehow also above and beyond our expectations. Through Chris' photojournalistic eye, he captured poignant moments just as we remembered them, as well as subtle moments that we would have missed. We highly highly recommend Silk City Photo!

Chris is awesome. We were looking for a photographer who could really blend in on our big day and capture things candidly. First of all, we knew Chris would be a great fit from the first call we had with him - he’s so friendly, genuinely took his time to get to know us, and was super supportive of whatever we wanted out of our pictures. It's hard to put into words how fantastic our experience with Chris was. He really captured the essence of our wedding and he did so with such an artful, sensitive eye. Also, and probably most importantly for us, he captured the pure fun and silliness of it all. It sounds corny, but he made us feel seen. I wish I had a better way of expressing how much we love the photos and moments he preserved. HIGHLY recommend Chris and Silk City Photo if you are looking for an extremely skilled, documentary style photographer. On top of it all, he is a genuine pleasure to be around. 10/10
