My dad gifted me a photo session for my daughter and me but he tasked me with finding the right person so I went to Google and after a brief search I came across Sara's page. I'd never booked a photographer before and while I love the airy bright pics of families dressed in matching styles and hair and makeup, i knew that wasnt personally my style. I wanted something that felt more...home and authentic. Sara's work is a mood. I see her photos and artwork and I see babies safe with their momma. I see the stillness captured within the chaos surrounding motherhood. I see a mom witnessing another mom and saying "Yes I see you." We had an hour session at my home and it was like any other day just relaxing at home. When Sara showed me the gallery a few days later I was brought to tears with how beautiful the entire session was. Her photos are truly works of art. If you want your photos to make you feel something then book Sara. Thank you for everything! And I had the pleasure of joining one of her sacred mothers circles last month. If you're a mom and just need to go somewhere and have someone hold space for you and be still for a few hours then definitely check out a circle event for sure. 10/10.
