I had a surprise gift done for my wife. A portrait with some challenging details. It took about a week to settle on an idea. This was my first time attempting a project of this nature. I didn’t know what to expect, but Ilisa communicated well and made the process easy. Once we agreed on design and price, it took approximately a month and a half to complete. I received progress updates in between but opted not to see the actual progress until completion. I was blown away by the portrait I received. But more importantly my wife loved the work (she said it looked like her) and was excited to share it with her family. I would absolutely use Ilisa again and highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Ilisa Calderon is an amazing portrait artist. She captures not only the outer likeness, but the inner world of her subjects. Wonderful experience. Pricing is reasonable. Work is a beautiful masterpiece. I had a portrait of my grandmother made for mom for Mother’s Day. My grandmother past away over 20 years ago and my mom only had a single, very old photograph of her. By looking at the painting you can see it was made with quality, patients, love, and looks EXACTLY like my grandmother. Not to mention, it was a Mother’s Day my mom would never forget. She had tears of joy running down her beautiful face when she received her portrait. Thank you for going above and beyond for me. If I could give you 10 stars if I could. Thank you again.
