I had an excellent shopping experience at this camera store. As an international student and a beginner in photography, I was truly impressed by the patience and professionalism of the staff. They carefully explained the different camera configurations and their distinctions to me. I was particularly interested in the Fujifilm X-T5, and the staff helped me compare it with the X-T50, ultimately recommending a lens that’s perfect for beginners. They also provided thoughtful suggestions tailored to my budget.

Overall, I absolutely loved the shopping atmosphere here. The store not only offers a wide selection of brands but also has an impressive range of accessories, including some second-hand lenses, all at reasonable prices without any markup. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase a camera. It’s definitely worth a visit!

Unique Photo in Philadelphia is hands down the best camera gear shop I’ve ever visited. It’s always my go-to for equipment and educational conversations. Today, I stopped by to shop for a monitor and transmitter, but I also needed some guidance on the business side of my multimedia work. The manager went above and beyond, offering fantastic advice that was both practical and encouraging.

As an artist not driven by money, it can be hard to find sales associates who truly understand the commitment to art over commerce. However, every visit I’ve made to Unique Photo has been exceptional. The employees here consistently deliver unparalleled customer service and genuinely care about helping you achieve your creative goals. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

I came into Unique Photo looking to get some insight on why my thrifted film camera hadn’t been working….. after working with Chris, we both determined that my camera might not be functional anymore. However, Chris was so patient and kind! He even showed me the film camera that were currently in stock at their store.

I ended up leaving with cutest Kodak Point and Shoot camera. I love this camera so much, I take it everywhere! Special shoutout to Chris!

Love this store! Everyone is so helpful and doesn't try to over sell you on things you don’t need. That is a huge reason I keep coming back.
From the first time I came in Lily was so polite and walked me through so many different options the store offered. Her and Justin are alway eager to talk to me about my photos and give advice on things to help hone my skills.
The classes are another thing that makes this place stand out. I’ve taken 4 classes with Todd now. Highly recommend anyone interested in learning more about photography to see what they offer. He is extremely patient and knowledgeable. Ensuring you completely understand all the materials.

Everyone here is super nice and knowledgeable. I have rented equipment from them multiple times over the past several years and haven't had any issues. Friendly staff, good selection of gear, and reasonably priced rentals.

The only negative I have is that their new website makes the rental process very painful, as it's not clear what gear is available on what dates when you are adding them to the cart, and if one piece of gear is not available it breaks the entire checkout flow. But hey, they are photographers not web designers...but that's cheap outsourcing for ya.

Came in here with a friend to ask about issues regarding our old digital cameras. I don’t know the name of the employee we spoke to but he was super helpful and kind! After having an awful experience at Webbcam LLC (the staff gave me attitude and didnt even really try helping me fix my camera), this store was a breath of fresh air.

I was coming in specifically to ask about the date and time function on my Nikon coolpix w100, as it wasn’t working and couldn’t be set on the camera. The employee took a look at it for awhile over the counter and eventually came back with a possible solution; which was trying to connect the camera via bluetooth to my phone with an app to set the time. It was the best lead I got to making the date and time work again. I even ended up getting a wrist thing for my camera here, and the employee showed me both an affordable and more high end option. I liked that he didn’t try to push the more expensive option on me and let me feel both products to get a sense of the difference in quality.

My friend also had a great time chatting with him while I tried connecting my camera to my phone. We could tell he was really knowledgable about camera stuff and was just overall a great guy. Almost makes me want to get more into photography just so I can come here again. Overall, totally recommend this place for anyone looking to get good advice or help for their cameras!

I'm a ham and egger - pretend i know things, ask too many questions, and repeat those questions too many times. The crew at Unique Photo not only humors me, but are earnest and thorough in their response. I've never left the store without a smile. My visit today....Kaleb was great. Knowledgeable, attentive, quick, and not salesy (of course that's the greatest sales ever).
