We rented the studio for a Christmas market. It was a really great experience. Jessica was easy to work with and super helpful. The building is beautiful and so fun for an event.
The only things that were a tiny bit frustrating were: 1-other businesses use the lobby, so there were workers coming in and out for the bathrooms all day. This would be very inconvenient for a formal event like a wedding. 2. There is a lot of furniture used for props that either can't be moved or has no place to go. Would also be frustrating at a formal event. 3. Parking is a concern. The entrance is hard to spot, and parking is extremely limited. 4. The heating is uneven. Since it's an old building, it is hard to heat properly. The upstairs gets too hot, while the downstairs remains cold.
For our purposes, these things didn't negatively affect our event very much. But for some events, these things would really severely impact the outcome.

My photographer rented this out for us (and other couples as well) for valentines minis, when we got there all the valentines decor had been taken down, it was still January and it would’ve been nice for us to know it was getting taken down so we could plan accordingly. Instead we had to try and improvise on the spot. The walls were a mess and the floors were dirty. I hated having my small kids crawl on the floors. My poor photographer paid so much to be there just for it to be a mess and no decor available. I also felt so bad for her knowing she would have to edit the walls since they were in such poor condition.

We threw my sister a baby shower in this space and it was perfect! The open concept of the main room gave us a lot of options with decorating and setting up tables. It was easy to find and access. The owner suggested a vendor for renting tables and chairs and they were amazing. So easy to work with, dropped everything off right when we got there and were there to pick everything up right when we finished. Overall a very seamless experience and would highly recommend the Loft Studio!

One of the best studios I’ve shot at! Easy to book, great space with lots of different props, chairs, and different textured walls to get whatever shot you’re looking for! Definitely going back soon!

The Loft Studio was an excellent place to film some interviews. It really is an incredible backdrop. It made our interviews look much better with the windows, open ceiling and hardwood floors. I would love to come back and film again. We filmed interviews with audio and I’m really happy with how everything turned out.

The traffic near the building occasionally had sound issues, but it’s on par with sound you would get anywhere else. Also be forewarned that it is on the second floor with stairs. But both these issues are worth it for the natural backdrop. I would say, for us these really were not issues. I’m just letting people know.
