I hired Swensen Photography back in 2012, when I got married. I just was now looking at my photos to find a picture of a family member, 6 years later and still love my photos! They did an excellent job of capturing every moment and every guest at my wedding, which had almost 200 people. They were reliable and were willing to work with me my whole entire day. They caught moments that I forgot. My family members who flew from all over the country came and ALL of them commented on the photography.

We contracted with Envy Foto (a sub-company of Swenson) to do a complete package for my daughters wedding. The engagement photo session was scheduled without incident but then the problems started. The photographer was not very experienced and offered no help into posing or positions and left it up to my daughter to figure it out. Then trying to pick up the photos was an even worse experience. I have called the Envy Foto phone number over a dozen times, left 4 voicemails and never once reached a live person. I even drove from North Davis County to Draper to sit in front of their offices to wait for someone to show up. To make matters worse, the photographer would only communicate via email - not phone. The pictures that were taken were fine. However, the experience dealing with a photographer whose main focus is taking school kids photos, unable to communicate effectively and clearly overwhelmed was more than we could take. I have heard great things about Swenson photography but buyer beware when you deal with Envy Foto. Its not worth the hassle.

My wedding photos turned out HORRIBLE. Most of the photos were side views of my friends taking a photo of me, or of our food. Consequently, most of the photos of me are from the side or the back of my head. The photographer spent a lot of time sitting and I had to go get him and ask him to take pictures. So there are only about 30 more pictures taken in 3 hours than the 200 a different photographer took for my bridals in 1 hour. SO DISAPPOINTED and nothing can be done to fix it. AWFUL!!!!
