Shanta is an amazing person and photographer! From the very beginning we knew Shanta was the one for our special day. From the moment I had a reply from Shanta I knew she was the photographer for us. We were eloping to Central Park and there was to only be the two of us. Shanta agreed to our witness as well as our photographer.

Everything was dealt with by email and Shanta responded quickly and her emails were always warm and friendly.

Incredible. Stunning. Powerful. These are just a few of the words that sprang to mind when I first saw the photos Shanta took for a special event sponsored by an organization I lead -- and while they sum up her work perfectly, they also somehow fail to tell the whole story. While taking the photos, Shanta was unobtrusive but intensely focused and highly engaged. The photos themselves were crisp, lively, and somehow managed to both capture the individual personalities of the people there and the overall vibe of the group itself. The candid photos she took of me were some of the best I've ever seen -- she somehow managed to catch my inner essence in a way no other photographer I've worked with has. The same could be said for every person in the room. The action photos managed to convey humor, whimsy, joy, and energy. The event could not have been more impactfully captured and the quality of the pictures could not have been better. Shanta photographed our wedding day and was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was professional, yet down to earth. I was comfortable having her around while me and my girls were just us. There is a such thing as too professional, stuffy, she was not that. She's comfortable in her environment whether that's just walking through capturing or giving direction for a good shot.
