First things first, Melissa is amazing. She did the photography not only for my wedding but also for my brothers wedding and we both loved her so much. She’s so approachable and asks all of the right questions to better understand what’s important to you and your significant other so that she can capture all of the best moments. On the day of she was such a calming presence to have, plus she was super flexible with any changes or requests that we had. I would recommend her over and over again, our pictures came out amazing. We ended up having horrible weather on our wedding day and had to move everything inside so I was worried the pictures wouldn’t be as nice just from a lighting perspective but they honestly came out even better than I could imagine. She somehow made the pouring rain outside look magical. She’s wonderful!

I cannot say enough incredible things about Melissa and SAVA Studio. Melissa is responsive, kind, professional, and very patient. And she was very accommodating as I kept adding things on to our photo & video packages leading up to the wedding. Working with Melissa for our wedding day was the easiest decision we made, and by far the best! My partner and I love her photography & editing style – we really really did NOT want “light & airy”/over exposed photos. We wanted our photos to look real & true to real life and that is EXACTLY what SAVA delivered!

Melissa kept everything on track on the big day; making sure we got all our portraits/family formals in before the ceremony (with time to spare!), which was important to me. She and her team cruised through the evening capturing the most wonderful photos and video. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with all the beautiful work. I mean, I even woke up the day after the wedding to an email of about 30 sneak peek photos! Melissa’s work ethic is just unmatched.

Working with SAVA Studio for my wedding was truly a dream. Melissa is not only an incredibly talented photographer, she is also responsive and involved in the entire wedding process. SAVA was one of the first vendors we signed on to work with after booking our venue. I had so many ideas for what I wanted my wedding photos to look like, and none of it was traditional and posed. Melissa completely understood this and promised tons of candids and relaxed shots. Melissa completely delivered! We have so many beautiful shots of places in our neighborhood that are important to us that feel more editorial than wedding. I can't even express the joy we felt when we saw the number of beautiful candids she and her partner took of both my husband and I and our guests. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was incredibly stressful, but Melissa did all she could to lighten our burden. We will cherish these photos for years to come of the most incredible day of our lives.

She captures the moment perfectly without the need for multiple shots which is so impressive because every picture she took at our rehearsal and wedding is amazing (all 2k+!)!! I have had the pleasure of working with SAVA Studios multiple times for portrait shoots, and every experience was incredible. Firstly, Melissa is a delight to work with. She is professional, easy to communicate ideas with, and most importantly made me feel so comfortable in front of a camera. Melissa's photojournalism style was exactly what we were looking for. She has this talent for blending candid moments with beautifully posed shots, and the pictures she took with film have this gorgeous, timeless feel to them. We used Melissa from Sava Weddings for our wedding at Tanglewood, and she did an AMAZING job! From candid getting-ready photos, to the ceremony and reception, she made sure to capture every important moment. She was also really great at managing our time to wrangle family for portraits, and she never got caught up in the chaos of the day. I've attended weddings where the photo team can be obtrusive, but Melissa seamlessly and gracefully did her thing without making it feel awkward or affecting our experience! In fact, she was a joy to hang out with and her presence only added to the big day. She is kind, funny, smart, and super supportive--everything you could want during such a busy but exciting time! After the wedding, Melissa sent us our sneak peek photos within 24 hours, and we were so pleased to see that they were absolutely beautiful. She really listened to what we wanted regarding the photo style and important moments. A few weeks later, we received our entire gallery, and were so thrilled with the results! Further, it was super easy to order prints on her website. I cannot recommend Sava Weddings enough--Melissa is THE best choice for your important day!
