I had a very disappointing experience with Robin Gamble and cannot recommend her services. There were several instances of unprofessional behavior that showed a lack of consideration for clients.

First, she promised to send an invoice for pricing and didn’t follow through until I had to remind her a day later. Then, when we discussed the pricing of $600 for the session, I suggested $500 as our budget. Instead of being understanding or trying to work with me as a client, her response was dismissive: “Hey I am out to dinner but this is my price. We can cancel and you can shop around.” There was no attempt to offer options or empathize with my situation.

Finally, on the day of the scheduled session, she canceled just a few hours before, sending a brief message with no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused: “Good morning 😃 .. I need to reschedule. I will send some dates. Have a great day.” Again, no consideration for our time or effort in planning for this.

In all interactions, Robin showed a lack of professionalism and concern for her clients. I do not recommend Robin Gamble for anyone looking for a photographer who values client relationships and professionalism.

Update:
I see the owner has responded, but I want to ensure anyone considering working with Robin fully understands what they may be getting into. Rather than offering a genuine apology, which is what would have been appropriate, she has attempted to portray both me and my business partner, one of the most reputable dentists in the Southfield area with over 30 years of service, as potential scammers.

If safety was truly a concern, Robin could have simply communicated that upfront. When I initially contacted her, I even asked if we could do the shoot at her studio or our office, to which she responded that she no longer had a studio. Furthermore, when she quoted $600 for her services and I mentioned to Dr. Mason that I found the price high, he encouraged me not to be cheap. After that, I informed Robin we would move forward with the project.

For full transparency, I will be sharing screenshots of our text exchanges, and Dr. Mason will also be submitting his own review of Robin’s services. It’s important for anyone considering hiring her to have the complete picture. Attitude is everything, and so far, Robin's has been far from professional.
