I had the viewfinder glass on my Sony A7iii get broken while working an event and shipped it to Perfect Image for repair. They were super friendly and helpful throughout the entire process and did a great job at repairing it. As far as I can tell it's working just like normal.

While this doesn't have to do entirely with Perfect Image, I feel that it's relevant information - I shipped from WV to PA with insured shipping both ways through UPS, which cost about $105 total in just shipping costs. I could have done un-insured and saved a good bit of money, but for something like this I would rather have the peace of mind, as this is my full-time job and losing a camera would be pretty bad and much more costly than $105.

Hopefully I won't need repair services again any time soon, but if I do I'm coming back to Perfect Image!

I have been renting here for over four years. They have great equipment, but I think that their weekend policy is aimed ant taking advantage of people. I went on a Saturday to rent equipment for a day or two days because I only needed it for that Saturday, but I was forced to rent it for three days because that’s their weekend policy. Even though they’re open on Monday and I only needed it for a day.
I think that’s a very dishonest and deceitful way of doing business most of us that Rent equipment can barely afford it and forcing people to rent for three days when they don’t need it that long Seems like a form of extortion.

I was told “ You can bring it back on Monday, but will still have to charge you for three days”.

Besides that I love everything they do .

I stopped into Perfect Image back in Aug. to get my Canon T3 Cleaned and Updated software. Well, they did an Excellent job, and I even bought a Small Digital Camera for my Grandson. And looks like I'll be coming back again real Soon, to get Light Seals put in my Vintage Olympus OM-1; and to pick up a Digital Camera for my Daughter. Keep Up the GR8 Work Guys and Gals!!📸💕

My experience with the quality of this business was very complicated. I shipped a camera from NC to the store for sensor cleaning. The reason for the two stars is for the fact that it costed over $150 to ship a camera to a proclaimed professional business just for it to come back DIRTIER than it was before. The sensor had several small spots from doing motocross photography and switching lenses outdoors and yet somehow, after it had been cleaned, it now has large clumps on the sensor that were not there before. I was truly devastated to have been treated so well by the staff and then to have a negative outcome with the quality. The customer service, communication, and response time to messages was excellent. The staff kept in touch with me for the entire process. I called them after receiving my dirty camera and asked if I could get a refund or partial refund and said they couldn't do that. They offered to clean it again but how do I know it'll just come back dirty a second time? They couldn't guarantee that either.

I went in with what I thought was a broken lens. The young lady that helped me knew almost immediately what was wrong (user error) and then put up with all my questions afterwards. Excellent customer service and knowledge.

The staff is very knowledgeable and have been able to help me with understanding how certain gear works.

They also just added a FILM DROPOFF BIN! You fill out an envelope (placed on the right side of the dropoff container) and drop your film in! I dropped mine off on Sunday (they are closed Sundays), and by Monday night had the digital files downloaded!

Perfect Image has helped keep film accessible in an ever-advancing world.

For a couple of years I have been wanting to get my lens calibrated. I have attempted it myself but I just can't seem to "get it right." I live in a small, rural town in Kansas and we do not have any camera shops near us. Whenever I have searched for calibration services, Perfect Image Camera always appears. I have been hesitant for quite a while to send my gear to them, mainly because it is in Pennsylvania. Another reason was that I didn't want to be without my gear for what I thought would be a couple of weeks minimum. Boy was I wrong! I finally decided to do it and am I impressed. I sent my gear to them on a Thursday. It arrived on the following Monday. That Monday afternoon I received a text message saying that they had received my equipment. The very next morning I received another text that my equipment had been serviced and was being shipped back to me. I received my equipment 3 days later. So complete turnaround time was one week. Absolutely thrilled beyond words! I just can't thank them enough for calibrating my lens and returning my equipment to me at blazing speeds. I will definitely use them again for my other lenses. Thank you Perfect Image Camera!! A sample of the difference the calibration has made. The Hairy Woodpecker image is soft but about as good as it would get. After calibration, the Tufted Titmouse is tack sharp!
