100/10 - NYC Film Lab is my go to lab, they truly care about their customers. They take the time to answer all of my questions and truly provide an amazing experience. I receive my scans ahead of their projected timeframe. Let me not forget to mention that my scans come out on point. You can never go wrong trusting them.

This is my favorite lab! They have an incredible turnaround (sometimes as short as 24h), very convenient hours, and the scans are high quality. They have also been super kind and helpful when I've had trouble with my film. I don't even live in the neighborhood but I don't mind the commute, I just love them.

I swear by this lab; I recommend NYC Film Lab to everyone that asks about my work. I love them! Even though I'm only a hobby photographer they take me seriously and understand what I need. I think at this point I've sent them a few hundred rolls and I can honestly say they have a perfect track record. They're exactly what I need in terms of quality and speed. Their TIF scans are also phenomenal. I recommend going that route; spend a little more and get TIF scans. I find myself editing this review multiple times because I can't express how good they are compared to other labs in the area. They're also the first to offer ECN-2 processing in NYC so if you want to shoot some real cine film, go to them. They know what they're doing and even offer pull and push services for ECN-2 if you have multiple rolls.

Fast, easy drop off, quality is great. I’m shooting Nishika / Nimslo 3D cameras on 35mm, which have smaller frames and they perfectly separate each frame really well, making it easy to convert into animations. Thank you!

place is fab ! close in the neighborhood 48 hr turn around for 35mm scans which i love .. seems like when i go there the card machine is never working or takes a bit of time to reboot (usually go when they open) so i do recommend that you pay online in advance and just drop off easy peasy!

To me, a film lab should provide a feeling of safety—a place where people have so much experience that no matter the problem, they know the cause and the solution. With a professional approach to film, there are many variables, and the only way through is with clarity.

I have been using NYC Film Lab as my main lab because of their familiarity with the ECN2 process and supply of Silbersalz film, while being very reasonable price.

I have processed about 50 rolls now with NYC Film Lab, and some came back with results that I wasn’t expecting. I am happy to report that together with the lab, I was able to look at the film strips and figure out which film was actually expired or damaged, or which could be improved with a re-scan. While our relationship is only starting, It’s already very fruitful. Looking forward to our further collaboration!

FYI:
- X-large TIFFs are full scans from the Noritsu scanner, which are 16-bit and around 6k resolution.
- Pro Camera Scans are DSLR scans that are even larger, with around 12k resolution and 12-bit, but with overscans that you will have to crop.

Scans attached are unedited 35mm scans from the Noritsu in ECN2, C41, and B&W. The white border is ECN2 on Pro Camera Scans.

I absolutely love this establishment. NYC Film Lab is efficient and professional. I was able to get my film processed and digitized within an hour at such a great cost. I cannot use the word cheap because this place is anything but "cheap"... compared to other places I've been, this is the best in Brooklyn and all of NYC. I'll be back soon! They developed me ISO200 35mm in such a great way! I was worried that the fogginess and firework smoke from Chinese New Year would not get me a good picture... thank you guys.
