Michael was absolutely fantastic. We did our engagement photos and wedding with him and both were incredible experiences. He made it so easy to be in front of the camera when it can be uncomfortable. The shots we got were so fun and unique! He captured little details to big moments and everything in between. He was flexible with all the different locations we needed photos, and was exactly where he needed to be at the right time. Rose is a fun partner and was an excellent addition to our engagements and wedding. Not only great people and artists, but people we'd call friends too. I would 10/10 book again and hope to do a shoot in studio someday.

I can't recommend him enough. We had Nilas do the photos for our wedding, and they came back picturesque, straight out of a fairytale. Going into it I really wanted a photographer who could capture the day as it played out naturally, especially since my husband and I aren't comfortable in front of a camera. Not only that but I wanted to ensure that I looked like 'me' in all the photos, no heavy retouching or filters that don't resemble me.

From the very start Nilas made everything easy. Communicating my ideas and wants was a breeze. And the day of the wedding I barely noticed him. He was running around the venue somehow getting every single angle all at once. I still get comments from my guests a month later that they were amazed by him, calling him a ninja the way he disappeared and reappeared across the venue a second later with the perfect shot.

AND THE PICTURES? Flawless. Obsessed. Can't stop looking at them. And we received over 700 beautiful shots back only a month after our wedding. We weren't even the only wedding he shot that weekend. Absolutely cannot wait to use his other services like boudoir shoots, and styled shoots at their studio downtown.

Working with Michael was so much fun! He ended up feeling like another one of our friends at our wedding and even our guests agreed. I definitely believe that having an engagement shoot with him before the wedding helped with that. Michael showed up prepared for anything. He had all sorts of equipment to help with getting the perfect lighting as the night went on. He went along with all my crazy photo ideas and even threw in a few of his own. Before the wedding he even went over my timeline with me to verify that we’d be able to fit in all the things I wanted to help me complete my vision.
