We chose Nicki Ahrens Photography to photograph our Couples Session this past November. We knew we wanted our session to be somewhere in Downtown Lynchburg. Nicki knew exactly where to take us! Nicki made both of us feel very comfortable. She has an energy to her that is contagious! When we were able to see our gallery, there were just so many beautiful pictures to choose from, that purchasing pics became so easy! I would highly recommend Nicki Ahrens Photography for a Couples Session! Here is one of my favorite moments she captured!

If you are searching for a wedding photographer, you can stop your search right now because you have found her! Nicki Ahrens Photography is nothing short of AMAZING! Nicki is one of the most heart warming, friendly people I have ever met. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. Nicki was extremely flexible with us when our wedding date and plans changed (more than once), she never complained when I was changing something up on her, she just adapted quickly and always had a plan. She put my camera shy husband at ease and had him modeling like a pro before our wedding day was over. She captured every moment (and more) that I wanted from our big day. She was also extremely time efficient and helped me stay on track with everything that needed to happen. I can't say enough good things about Nicki, she is truly such a kind person, just seeing her on my wedding day put me at ease. I will ALWAYS come to her to capture our big moments in life. She is simply, the BEST.

My husband and I booked Nicki almost 18 months ago for our weekend 2 weeks ago. Nicki kept in touch even after our initial conversation and talked to me the week before, providing timeline outlines and some tips for keeping the day going smoothly. When I finally met Nicki, it was like I had known her forever! She is incredibly warm and energetic and was able to keep everyone calm and on task. She even had a checklist of all family shots needed which took stress off rounding everyone up! She pulled us out of our reception for sunset shots, which turned out way beyond any expectations we could have set. We got all of our photos back today and are floored by how beautiful they are. Nicki was a dream to work with. She is AMAZING with lighting- really has a great eye for it! Nicki was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was excellent at communicating, very thorough and detailed, and knew exactly how to make the day run smoothly. She captured every moment and listened to any special requests we made and made sure to follow through. She was very upbeat and lively - you can feel her energy and her passion for what she does and weddings in general. From day one when I called around interviewing photographers, all the way through and even after our wedding, she was consistent and made us feel comfortable and very special. She made us laugh and feel like we were talking with an old friend. The wedding album was returned very quickly in great quality and was absolutely gorgeous! We had Nicki as our photographer for wedding this past Friday evening, and she is absolutely awesome! Her second shooter, Liz, was also fantastic. They were patient and absolute troopers. We had an incident with a dog jumping out of a vehicle and Nicki and Liz surrounded me in my wedding dress, assuring the dog wouldn't jump on me! It made for a great laugh! We had several children in our wedding and they did a great job herding them up to the front of the alter. I cannot wait to see the magical moments they captured for our picture perfect wedding. Nicki was incredible; we got married April 22, 2017 and though it rained the entire time, you would never have known. Whenever the rain lightened up enough, she grabbed us for exterior shots and let me tell you, there's nothing like working with someone who will stand out in the drizzle for hours making sure you have all the pics you want. She is a wonderful person to know and we especially enjoyed getting to know her during our engagement photo shoot. She truly cares about your day and your memories; I would recommend her to anyone!
