We’ve had the pleasure of working with Monica Salazar Photography twice for our Christmas photos at the Lumen Room, and both experiences have been wonderful! Monica is so sweet, and her easygoing nature made posing a breeze, even with our new puppy in tow! She has an incredible eye for capturing the perfect moments, and every photo turned out stunning. Monica was so accommodating and so kind when we were running a bit behind for our Christmas photos! We were only there for about 15-20 minutes and I was shocked the photos came out so beautiful. She was down a camera at the end of the day so I was a little worried lighting or something would be off but every single shot was incredible! We have never used Monica before but we absolutely will again! Highly recommend her for photos! 5 stars!

We have booked our family holiday photos for the past several years with Monica Salazar, both at the Lumen Room, and at her adorable home studio (one time with Santa!) She is great at keeping the kids engaged and I am always so impressed with the photos we receive. She offers many different sets/locations for her holiday mini sessions, so there is always something new and fresh for the Christmas cards. I just received this year's photos and I am having so much fun looking through them - they are beautiful, as always. 🙂

Monica was very professional and courteous for our 1st Christmas photos in 2023. She was so wonderful; we booked this year's photos with her as well. Monica has done family photos for me 2 times during the holiday season and each of those years, she has been nothing but professional! She was always on time and her at home studio looks like something out of a magazine (amazing!). Her prices are also affordable and she has sales random sales throughout the year. Monica is a wonderful photographer. I’m obsessed with the photos she captured on my wedding day (and during my bridal portraits in separate session). On the wedding day, she captured EVERYTHING — wedding details, decor, guests, family, sweet candid moments of me and my husband during the first look, ceremony, and reception, and of course, the most iconic, gorgeous portraits of us too. She was very helpful in suggesting poses that looked natural and beautiful. Monica has a great eye for lighting and how to capture the beauty of a venue. She’s also great at capturing people — our wedding party included people of varying skin tones and she made everyone look good (ie no one was overexposed or underexposed). Monica and her team were so easy to work with and really listened to what my husband and I wanted (in terms of what we wanted captured or what poses we wanted to try), while also being attentive to our guests and capturing beautiful photos of them too. She was also very patient and has a calming presence. I would happily work with her again.
