We've used Michelle for photos for our family for several years now. We've done family shoots, shoots with just the kids, maternity pictures, newborn, Christmas... the list is long. She is a joy to work with and always brings the best expressions out of my kids *and* my husband which is honestly a feat in itself. She is super patient with the kids and will spend as much time as needed to make sure she gets the shots. On one occasion, my daughter (a toddler at the time) was just NOT having it. She wasn't feeling well, was overtired... you know how it goes. We ended up leaving the session early and she offered to do a reshoot on a different day which came out beautifully. Michelle's style always produces photos that capture your family as they are, in real raw happy moments on top of your typical pose-and-smile shots. My favorites are always the ones of my kids laughing.

Michelle's sessions are a really great value for the attention you get both in the session, and in her editing process after. She also offers mini sessions throughout the year at various locations and at her studio in Avon. Photos are something that I will never regret spending money. Time flies and preserving these memories has just been such a precious gift.

From the start, Michelle made it clear that she wanted me to be happy with the pictures. She was extremely patient and kind with my thousands of questions. She was never pushy, and recommended that I look at her work to decide if her artistic style matched what I was looking for. She was communicative, responsive, and professional. Moreover, her packages are well thought out and extremely reasonable!
I first hired Michelle for our newborn photos back in July 2021. She walked me through what the day would be like, and even spent probably an hour (I'm not kidding) helping me figure out what to dress everyone in (I'm bad with matching colors, ok) Michelle has a sweet, gentle, and humble demeanor and she connected with my 2 year old toddler immediately. My son even gave her a hug at the end (he might actually be in love with her). She even made my camera shy husband feel at ease.
When I received the photos, they were sent via an online gallery. As I scrolled through the photos during my early morning feeding of my newborn, my eyes filled with happy tears because- well, I'm hormonal, but also because she so perfectly captured the teeny tininess of my newborn, the fierce protectiveness of my toddler over his new baby brother, and the happiness of our new family of four.
Every single photo was taken with amazing lighting. The colors were vibrant. The photos were natural. It was just...us.
And now? Michelle has become our family photographer. She did a Mommy and Me session for me and my two boys (it was a Mother's Day gift from my husband), and the latest was a fall mini session. I also have her booked to do a newborn session with my third son early next year. That's how much we love Michelle!
It was clearly shown throughout the entire process that Michelle is a small business owner that takes pride in her work. There is nothing more valuable than that in my mind. Her work is absolutely beautiful. We have found our family photographer for life!

Michelle photographed my little family, and I am so beyond grateful for her expertise, vision and time. I try to invest in portraits every year and Michelle has been hands down the best experience.
