When it was time to choose a photographer for our daughter's quinceñera, April 2024, we wanted someone who was well experienced, professional and trustworthy. Our event coordinator recommended Merced Photography, and we know that was the best decision we could have made. Our first consultation with Merced Photography was so wonderful. She showed us photographs and videos of her work, and I honestly have to say it was amazing. We could see the dedication and enthusiasm in her work and the professionalism when meeting with clients. After that first meeting, we felt she would be the perfect photographer and hired her on the spot.
Our daughter's photoshoot was so effortless because Merced and her team knew what to do and give the exact instructions. From her direction to capture the perfect smile, look, tilt of the head, arm and hand position, it all worked meticulously to capture the perfect pose and capture the feeling of that moment beautifully. The direction of her staff for the video shoot, was also amazing. When we saw the final product of the video shoot, we could not belive how beautiful and amazing the video looked. Her work was spoken art that had emotion and feeling that brought out our tears and inner happiness. We knew we had hired the best!
On the day of our event, we continued to see the professionalism and utmost respect of her team. They were always so polite and engaging that we never felt rushed or pushed to hurry due to time constraints. Everything flowed so effortlessly and gently because her team created a comfortable environment to work in. All her team were professional, courteous, respectful and patient making all the photo and video shoots easy and comfortable. This work environment continued throughout the night until the last picture and video were taken. We could not wait to see all her hard work.
When it was time to see our pictures, we were so overwhelmed with emotion and happiness because every single picture was beautifully captured. Over 1000 pictures were taken of our event and honestly, we did not see any pictures that we didn't like. The photo album that her team created was a beautiful story from start to finish of our special event. They picked the perfect pictures for the album and we couldn't be happier with the results. The sheer beauty of her photographic work is captivating and mesmerizing that it will not disappoint. Merced Photography is truly an artist who will capture the essence of your special day with beautiful pictures and videos. I truly give her a 10 out of 5 stars for her outstanding work and dedication.

Beware of hidden fees. They didn't want to send contract until we sent the deposit, who does that. I'm not going to send money BEFORE I see the terms I'm agreeing too. No! Plus you will be charged for them NOT to post your childs photos on their SM, online, promotional material, and they will have full ownership of all her images. It's a no for me.

We went another photographer that is just as good, if not better, that didn't pull all these shenanigans.

Merced and her team are amazing at what they do from the intro meeting down to the detailed creative work! Merced was Amazing, She always answered all my questions and made sure all was understood before the call ended, was always responsive and available for any questions or concerns. If she couldn’t get back to me in the moment some one in her team would contact me, everyone I interacted with through the process was very kind.
