Maundy is a true artist. She provided instructions to help me nail the perfect headshot. I actual gasped when I saw one of the photos and I had a hard time picking a favorite. I plan to return with my dog and cat for a bougie portrait session. It’s going to be amazing and I look forward to working with Maundy again. Such a fun time.

Working with Maundy was an easy experience. She put me at ease from the start, and was patient when I had limited time to devote to sharing links of what I was thinking about. However, knowing me, and seeing an example of the type of look I wanted, Maundy created intimate photos of my son and I that showed our close bond. I wanted to capture this moment before he's too big and grown up. She was patient, kind, and worked so well with my son I was blown away. I scheduled a tintype session with Maundy to celebrate my 10th (tin) wedding anniversary and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Maundy creates a such a warm and inviting environment. I had the privilege of attending a portrait workshop taught by Maundy at her studio in Plymouth. I am a fan of her portraiture and was excited to learn from her. The workshop exceeded my expectations. From the technical, to the artistic, to the people skills involved in creating great portraiture, Maundy is a master. She was engaging as an instructor and maintained a wonderful balance of taking questions while also making sure we got through all the workshop content. I highly recommend Maundy as an instructor! I am a recent client of Maundy Mitchell Photography. I LOVED the entire experience of working with her. From my initial contact, Maundy was warm and inviting, answered all of my questions, and invited me to see the studio. When visiting the studio, Maundy intentionally created an inviting and safe environment for me. She took the time to sit with me, to ask about my business (for which I was getting photos done), to read through my business documentation, and to grasp the picture aspirations in my head. Maundy met me at the door on the day of the shoot with a huge smile, immediately setting any anxiety to rest. The entire session was enjoyable, with many laughs. The finished product is AMAZING! What a rewarding and life-changing experience working with Maundy has been! I celebrated my 78th birthday by scheduling a session with her because I’d seen the amazing photographs that she'd done for a couple of friends and because her Extraordinary: Over-50 Revolution for women appealed to me. The result is that I have a set of stunning portraits of my own in which I am absolutely gorgeous, although I've never thought of myself that way.
