The day goes by so fast. It’s hard to take everything in and see it all as it happens. Seeing the photos for the first time at the reveal, truly was like reliving that day all over again. We noticed so many details that we didn’t get the chance to see the day of.

Go with your gut instinct when choosing your wedding photographer. Pick somebody that you’re comfortable around and can be yourself with. If you’re nervous, the pictures will show it. Lenny and Melissa have a way of breaking everyone out of their shell to get the most genuine photos possible.

Plus, the engagement and wedding shoots were a ton of fun! We were a big fan of their creativity and ability to catch those perfect "Kodak Moments" without us even knowing. Both shoots had a nice, smooth flow that didn't feel staged or pre-planned. They were both able to allow us to be ourselves and capture who we really are. Lenny and Melissa are some of the most genuine, fun photographers out there.

They truly care about their couples and strive to capture the true mood of the day. Words cannot describe how happy we are that we went with Lenny and Melissa as our photographers. From the time that Kate met Lenny at the New Jersey Bridal Expo, she knew they were an absolute perfect match.

We are incredibly lucky to have had Lenny & Melissa do our wedding's photo & video. Right from our first conversation we felt very comfortable with them handling everything we wanted. First our engagement shoot was amazing. We picked a great spot on the north shore in Long Island. L&M met us there and what they were able to capture at this spot was spectacular. After seeing these photos we knew even more the we made the right decision! Prep for the wedding was thorough and efficient, with a full schedule planned for us and all the details we needed. Day of everything went amazing. Starting off with the guys then heading over to the girls, to meeting up for first look & bridal party shots, and finally the ceremony and reception. Everything was well represented just as we wished and looking back on all the photos we received we are overjoyed. Not to mention, the beautiful album we received, which was a result of our final meeting post-wedding, discussing all the moments we want focused on along with their ideas of what would look best. Selena and I went to a few bridal shows and viewed the photography packages and works of many artists. Most seemed generic, although price conscience; but you get what you pay for, typically. Knowing that I wanted our special day to be memorialized for eternity, with a keen eye, and a personal touch, that was unique, playful, but romantic, I continued my quest. Thankfully, technology of today allows for a vast search, so the endeavor was facilitated with a mere inquiry of a search engine. I was pleasantly surprised to come across Lenny & Melissa Photography, and began to navigate through the various works, albums, and compositions that were shared. As I viewed the mastery of portraits displayed, I was captivated by the artistic quality spoken through the photographs. Not only did I feel emotions, these emotions were transcended into physical responses, as I had tears brought to my eyes, that streamed down my cheeks. I couldn't wait to share the treasure I dug up through Google, and began sending the site and spoke about specific photographs that I embraced. The amount of raw emotion, happiness, surprise, and one of a kind photographs that frequently get missed, were captured by Lenny & Melissa Photography. Selena and I sat for a few hours, going through all the magic expressed on the website, and I knew that Lenny & Melissa not only had a special eye for their craft, but would produce a special product. Selena and I reached out to them both and soon met, comforted in the hospitality of kinship. Speaking for hours, connecting, drinking, eating, and celebrating, this was more of friends coming together than a meeting. Thankfully, Selena saw and felt what I did, and we found our photographers.

What we love most about our engagement photos is that it embraces the love Selena and I share in a pure, unadulterated, artistic way, showing our trueness, despite feeling naked in-front of a lens. How they made us feel comfortable before the camera and allowed us to have fun with the session. It was as if the camera wasn't even there and was more like hanging out with friends. Their ability to visually embrace the magic of the moment and memorialize such in a print form is special, amazing, and truly an art. You aren't getting just a photographer that feed off one another, you are gaining friends that become family.

We absolutely feel more relaxed and prepared for our wedding day. Being able to connect on multiple levels with Lenny and Melissa truly brings the photographing sessions full circle. I was most fearful, anxious, and nervous about the poses would look unnatural or forced. Not being photogenic and not being able to see the outcome right away was stressing. However, the final product is beyond imagination and was classic, timeless, and amazing. I know, now that we had a trial run with the engagement session, that the wedding day will be natural, fun, and exquisite. One less stressor for our day!

Besides getting married, we are most excited about the blending of our families on our wedding day. We are both divorced, so the sharing of our love with all in attendance and the ability to be one entity as a force multiplier I look forward to...then the Honeymoon!!!

With L&M, it doesn’t feel like a business transaction, it feels like you are hanging out with good friends…… Who also happen to be taking a lot of great pictures of you!

L&M make every moment of every shoot fun, even when you are going at it for hours you barely notice the time passing. Neither of us have ever been professionally photographed and to be able to see yourself in that light is amazing.

It is amazing seeing them work in tandem to make sure YOU are OK with everything that is going on. They give direction but at the same let you and your spouse kind of run the show naturally. The best part is when we are in action, whether it be an engagement shoot or your actual wedding day. They have a way of making you feel extremely comfortable.

They provide a great mix of giving direction but also letting you as a couple just be natural with one another. One of our favorite parts was becoming one with nature taking photos during our first look. We were laughing and smiling with L&M the entire time.

With all the emotions you have on your wedding day day, it felt good to feel so comfortable with L&M.

Our initial meeting with L&M lasted 3 hours and before we even left the hotel where we met them we decided that we wanted them to be our photographers. I actually canceled the remainder of our meetings with studios because I knew we had found our team.

One thing our guests have constantly mentioned to us is that they barely even noticed L&M and were so surprised that they were still able to get such AMAZING shots of us. It brings us so much joy to look at our pictures and you really do feel like you are living it all over again.They are superb at what they do and we are so lucky to have them in our lives now. We would go on and on about how easy L&M are to work with but more so, you leave every shoot knowing that you are going to end up with the best images possible.

From Melissa capturing stunning photos from hidden angles (we joked it was like playing "Where's Waldo") to Lenny stepping in to help Jeremy with his cufflinks, they went above and beyond to support us. One hilarious moment was recreating a funny engagement session photo where Jeremy snuck up behind me—it ended up being one of my favorite portraits of the day!

L&M are not only masters of their craft but also genuinely wonderful people who prioritize your wedding day experience. When I couldn't include my cat in wedding photos, they offered to come to my house post-wedding to recreate a meaningful image inspired by a portrait of my grandmother on her wedding day. They fulfilled this promise, showing how much they care about their clients. Melissa even custom-designed our save-the-dates when I struggled to find one I loved. Don't walk—run to book them for your big day!

They perfectly captured the raw emotions & aesthetics of the day without interrupting moments. I can't say enough about the video. It felt like a cinematic retelling of our big day without turning us into actors. We were nervous about finding a videographer who might stage moments for the perfect shot, but Lenny and Melissa let everything happen naturally. The result was a breathtaking video that captured the real emotions and highlights of the day. It's a treasure we'll cherish forever.

If you’re looking for a detail oriented, professional, caring and extremely talented team of photographers…you can stop looking, you found it all and more in Lenny and Melissa. They saved us. Our original photographer canceled on us weeks before the wedding. Absolutely shocked, my cousins friend was getting married and loved Lenny and Melissa we were told to reach out to them and see if they can do it. As soon as we met them we sighed in relief. They’re a dream to work with and create such a positive and safe environment during your time with them. When you work with them they have a calm familiar presence. The quality of the photos and video taken is second to none. They are extremely detail oriented and are truly working with you to make your day magical.

We never had engagement photos and were so bummed about it. They quizzed us on our dream shoot and made it happen days later (driving 6 hours in a day to our dream venue might I add). They never interrupted a moment and I am so grateful that our original vendor canceled. Our photos consistently get such praise (engagement and wedding photos). I will be forever grateful to them for giving us these memories to cherish.

My husband and I display photos and consistently get lots of questions and compliments. I recommend Lenny and Melissa to anyone who will listen. A husband and wife duo that make you feel like you’re family by the time your wedding ends. Not only capturing beautiful moments but creating an unforgettable experience and relationship. They feel like the friend from college that you don’t see often but, when you do it feels like no time has passed.

What we love most is the authenticity, creativity and the natural enhancements to elevate the photos. Our individual shoot near our first look is my favorite. They let us be goofy, weird, funny with zero shame. If we liked it they loved it for us.

It makes us emotional to relive our wedding day through the images. The pictures were so well captured that I can remember the feeling, sounds and smells around us. If I close my eyes I can transport back to that day!

When we received our album, OH MAN THE TEARS I SHED!!!!! I think our album has more pages than the Bible. We could not choose between photos (they were all too good) so Lenny worked his magic and made it almost like a story book. Expertly crafted from the creation and layout of photos to the execution and quality of the album from the distributor.

My favorite part of our video is our first dance. We didn’t want to be dancing alone in the floor for too long but, somehow they captured it in a way that felt like a movie. Everyone was around us but, their focus was on us. It’s also symbolic of marriage in a lot of ways. There will always be outside noise, but, if you center back to each other it will always work out.

My advice for couples is well first off choose Lenny and Melissa. No brainer! You want someone who is like a “fly on the wall” capturing moments without interrupting them. It’s a huge bonus to vibe with your vendors when they get to know you, they take care of you before you even know what you need! In short if you’re looking for a vendor that listens to what you want, creates a personalized experience for you and blends in with any crowd you’ll find it all and more with Lenny and Melissa!

The picture books that Lenny and Melissa offer give you that perfect story for you to sit down with your grandchildren and reliving that perfect day.

Not having this option and simply downloading your pictures at the end of the day can cost you precious memories if they just get lost in the cloud.

Having Lenny and Melissa there with us on our wedding day gave us peace of mind to enjoy it to the fullest. They're extremely professional and will not let you down. They certainly did not disappoint.
