Lara did beautiful photos of my husband, our dogs and me. She is very passionate doing her work and knows wonderful places where to take photos. Lara is friendly, kind and loves dogs, so your dogs are going to feel comfortable. The beauty stylist did a wonderful makeup and hair. Her studio is very cozy and cute. Lara was a delight to work with. She was so welcoming to my husband and I and made us feel comfortable with the whole photo process. My husband isn’t a big picture guy and she was able to instruct him on how to pose and provided methods to look more relaxed in front of the camera. Her studio space is warm and inviting. I particularly enjoyed her process of narrowing down pictures and getting the shots we liked best. She did that with us right there and it was simple and streamlined.

My experience with Lara and Art was AMAZING. I'm a naturally awkward person, and this was one of the first full professional shoots I've done. But Lara made me feel super comfortable and relaxed during the whole process.

She was also super knowledgeable about how to pick the right outfits as well as what backdrops would be appropriate. She was flexible given our pandemic situation and took all of the appropriate measures to ensure safety for myself and her and her crew.

But really. The photos that came out were perfect. I have several to choose from for lots of the different forms of work I do.

I selected Lara to do my first professional headshots because I loved the style of her portfolio and because she offered far more for the fee than anyone else: two final shots rather than one, with hair and makeup included. The actual experience of the shoot was one of warmth, fun, and tremendous support. When I thought the first makeup job was too intense, the artist listened carefully to my feedback and then cheerfully toned down the colors until I was satisfied. Lara herself was creative, enthusiastic, open to input, and incredibly affirming. I highly recommend her for any photography needs you have!
