Our experiences with Kate have been fantastic! She was excellent with preparing us in advance; even helping to consult on clothing, upon request. She gave us every detail we needed to be prepared and have the actual shoot go smoothly. Kate is amazing at getting and keeping the kids' attention and bringing big bright smiles to their faces. She has a real talent for finding just the right way to make them feel comfortable and stay engaged with her. To top it off, she turned around beautifully edited pictures quickly. I love the online studio so we can select pictures with no pressure. The prints we received were perfect (and perfectly packaged!) and I'm so happy to have digital copies to keep forever.

Overview: Outdoor spring blossom "mini" session for family with toddler and baby. Easy experience. Beautiful photos. Would definitely work with Kate again in the future. Details: I was impressed with Kate's website and communication from the beginning of the process. Website was very easy to navigate and take care of all the business details (booking, contract, selecting packages, invoice payment, etc.). The session itself was also very smooth. Kate met us at the park and immediately put everyone at ease. She captured several shots with all four of us smiling (even baby!). She took a nice variety of candid shots (tossing kids in the air, kisses, toddler running through the grass, etc.) and "posed" portraits (everyone sitting nicely, smiling and looking at the camera). It was a "mini" session, so just long enough to capture all of us without wearing us out. She edited/enhanced the final images beautifully. She clearly has an artist's eye and the expert skill to make it happen. I had put off arranging professional family photos because I thought it would be too much (too much time, too much money, too much hassle, too much risk with an unknown photographer). Kate made it all very easy, and the "mini" session format makes it quick and affordable. Now this will be something we do on a regular basis as the kids get older. Thank you Kate!

I wanted to get boudoir photos taken for my husband during his deployment. After talking with Kate, she had so many fun ideas right away, like a story board already being made in her mind.

My boudoir session with Kate was nothing less than amazing. I was a little nervous at first, but she completely put me at ease and made sure I was comfortable during the entire shoot. I had such a fun time getting to feel like a model for the day! She has a talent for directing you on how to pose in ways that are incredibly flattering and beautiful. I sent her pictures of my outfits before the shoot, and she brought some accessories that worked really well. I could not have been happier with her work, the photos were gorgeous, and my husband said it was the best gift he has ever received!

I am a perfectionist, so I'm always worried before the session about the kids behaving and smiling. I've learned not to worry because Kate such an amazing way of making everyone feel at ease from the beginning. For each of our outdoor sessions Kate always prepared so well and had the perfect spots picked out for the photos. Kate has the sweetest props and really uses the light and nature to capture the most precious moments. She has the friendliest disposition and my kids (3) and (1) were SO at ease. Kate made the session FUN. My daughter was actually sad when it was over!!

My husband and I had a portrait session done in conjunction with an article for our local community magazine. Although I was a bit nervous about having someone I hadn't met take pictures of us, Kate immediately put me at ease. She was easy to work with and great with our nervous dog, who got in on a few shots. The photos are very nice, and we even bought a few prints and digital images to use on our Christmas Card for this year.

Out of the ordinary request ~ We asked Kate to come out and do a photo session with a dozen participants attending a leadership program. The intention was to offer participants a professionally done, but relaxed head shot for use on social media and to support their personal branding efforts. Total success! We accomplished the feat in under an hour and the participants were in love with Kate and her easy going personality. If you haven't considered offering this type of event to the staff at your company I encourage you to do so. What a great experience.

Our photo session was great from start to finish. Kate was great with our 3 & 5 year old's and provided a casual, comfortable feel which facilitated a very natural session. Very pleased with all our photos and loved the spontaneous candids towards the end. Super fast turnaround. Hardest part was choosing which photos to buy- if not all!
