Absolutely amazed with how perfect of a pick ITLA was for photographing our wedding. Not only did our photos turn out amazing, but we felt so comfortable the entire time! Their positivity and confidence made us feel the same in front of the camera. There is a big difference between hiring photographers and hiring two people who were born to take photographs. Em and Tay have photographed our engagement as well as our wedding and we could not have asked for a better turn out. They seem to understand how to capture all of the emotion in the room into a collection of photos. They are gems of human beings and you are missing out by not working with them. We will continue to use them for all of the special moments in our lives! Their iconic high five photos are always our favorite.

ITLA photo was exceptional throughout the whole process of the year we worked with them. They completely surpassed our expectations - from the engagement photos to the wedding day, the moments they captured were beautiful and the exact vibe we were aiming for. Not only are they talented and creative, but they are also really friendly, funny and overall pleasant to work with. It made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free! On the wedding day, they effortlessly blended in and helped to make a comfortable experience. We personally loved the style of natural candids and artsy compositions. It felt like they really were just documenting key moments and let real moments happen so that we as a couple could stay present on the wedding day. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited to leave a review for anyone! I need start off by saying that I’ve been following ITLA for years and have always been a huge fan of their work. In fact it wasn’t until I stumbled upon their photos of Millwick (my now wedding venue) that I realized I could have a wedding look and feel like us! They are an unbelievably talented team and have such a unique style and artful eye for composition. On top of that they’re an absolute joy to be around. As someone who is generally uncomfortable in front of the camera, they have such a way of creating a calm and fun atmosphere. We first met Em and Taylor at our engagement shoot in DTLA and it genuinely felt like a day out with friends- starting with a meet and greet over coffee and then to walking around the streets of downtown - we had a blast and felt so comfortable we forgot there were cameras around! One of my favorite compliments received from our engagement photos was that our smiles and laughter looked genuine (not forced). Needless to say, we left our engagement shoot feeling like we just had a super fun day out w/ new friends and bonus that we got epic photos out of it.
We couldn’t wait to reunite with them on our wedding day. Everyone in our bridal party came up to us throughout the day raving about how brilliant they were - how efficient comfortable they made everyone feel. It is so important to find a photographer you trust and feel comfortable with since you spend majority of the day with them. Despite feeling like friends, Em is an absolute professional - quick and proactive on emails, super helpful with developing our wedding day timeline, and throughout the wedding day super communicative leading us through the day. And on the day of, somehow managing to be everywhere at once to capture every candid laughter, silly dance move, or sentimental moment without you even realizing she’s there. Magic. I can’t recommend them enough!!! It was the best decision we made.

Choosing the right person to capture one of the most important days of your life is challenging. As soon as we met with Em over FaceTime, we knew that ITLA would be the perfect fit! Neither of us like how we generally look in photos, and looking back on the photos from our big day (now months ago) still make us beam with happiness. Em’s counter-part Taylor was a calming, fun presence throughout our shoot and big day too. Having shared a similar story to ours, we felt like they were the perfect people to capture our special day, in ways we couldn’t even imagine. We will keep ITLA in mind for any special occasions we have lying ahead of us, and we cannot thank them enough for the beautiful photos that we have to look back on for the rest of our lives!

ITLA did our proposal, engagement and wedding photos and they were an absolute dream come true. They captured the beauty and emotion of each event in such a unique way that I’m grateful I didn’t trust anyone else!

For our engagement session, we did three looks and they made each a stylized tableau different from the others. The care and attention they took making our engagement session such a special day made me especially confident in their abilities for our wedding day! They have a perfect balance of easy-going and professional that makes it easy to feel comfortable being photographed while having confidence in their vision. Similarly, we didn’t just get wedding photos, we got a team that kept us on target. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator on our wedding day and I am so thankful for the way ITLA kept everything moving with such calm and collected command; that was not something I was expecting from a photography vendor. They captured photos of everything and then some - from important highlights of the wedding to tiny details to most importantly, the people. I treasure the life and love they captured in my wedding photos and the way they made the day so smooth!

Photos of an event are what you’re going to use to relive your day so they’re an important investment. With ITLA we got stunning photos, fun people to work with and the confidence that we were being taken care of. I highly recommend them to take care of you the same way!
