If you are looking for an AFFORDABLE, SINCERE, EXPERIENCED, and CREATIVE photographer who knows the ins and outs of weddings, you can stop here.
First, engagement photos (included in package):
Since we were from out of state, we were worried about timing and location. Sarah and Shane were gracious enough to meet us half way in between where we both lived to shoot our photos. Lucky for us, Sarah is an experienced photographer who knows weather can get in the way at times, and thus had us sign up for a Plan B date. We ended up having a weather delay, so we were so happy to have an extra date already set up. The location was also one that they were familiar with but had not shot at before, so they made the trek there the weekend before our date in order to scope out all the best spots. This, along with their easy going nature, made our engagement shoot so natural and enjoyable.
Next, the wedding:
First, if you are one of those couples out there trying to put together a fusion wedding, Hive and Honey has you covered. I was a bride who had very little knowledge of what a Hindu/Indian wedding entailed. Luckily Sarah and Shane had shot Indian weddings before and were much more knowledgeable than I with many of the traditions. I even reached out to Sarah about our timeline for the day, including photo timing, and she was able to guide me to a very successful and realistic timeline. This made all of the wedding festivities flow with ease, and they were able to capture many of the key moments in both ceremonies that were special to us. I love their motive of catching candid and natural shots. I never felt over posed or uncomfortable during our formal pictures. We absolutely love our photos from the day(s) and so appreciate all the love they put into editing and getting them back to us just a couple weeks after the wedding. Would highly recommend them for your wedding!

Sarah and Shane were amazing photographers. They were professional and very easy going. They did my wedding on May 11,2019. We had planned to do outside pictures and it rained. So they were able to create beautiful pictures inside the venue. They handled coordinating family pictures with ease. Even during our engagement session. My then fiancé and I aren’t very photogenic and are very awkward in front of the camera. They were worked with us to get some awesome pictures.

My husband and I are nearing our 5 year wedding anniversary and I sill am so in love with our wedding pictures taken by Hive and Honey!! They were great to work with and made you feel very comfortable! Not to mention how great their work is. I can only imagine how much more wonderful they've gotten over the last 5 years of experiences. I highly recommend using them for your engagement/ wedding photography!!

Sarah and Shane were amazing! Our pictures were beautiful, and we received so many compliments on them. We received our photos back quickly and in a very nice keepsake box. I recommend them to anyone looking for a timeless photographer!
