Wow! I can honestly say I found a consistent place where people can genuinely feel out the tempo and speed I’m working with! The equipment is wonderful and the final product always sounds radio ready! I can’t believe I sound like this! The lead engineer JOJO really captured what I was expecting before I could’ve expected it. I swear he can really work with any genre no matter if you’re a rookie or pro. The location is fire and the highlife staff always makes it comfortable to comeback. Make sure you catch them when they’re promoting their deals (which is quite often). You won’t make the mistake coming here!

You won't regret working with HLS and investing your time into your craft here! HighLife Studios is honestly ALWAYS a vibe. The people are top tier and never hesitate to let your creative mind wonder while they back your play. The studio itself is always nothing less than professional and well put together and the people are 100% welcoming and genuine. The support is always there and that's no doubt. Special thanks to my guy Oso for always bringing my music to life and investing time into my sound. Wouldnt want to work with anyone else and I know I won't be going anywhere else!

Highlife Studios is the only studio I go to. I have never worked with an engineer who is more invested in bringing out the best in every artist he works with. Contrary to what another may say about him, he doesn’t just push a button and tax. That ain’t true. He gives feedback and he cares about your progression as an artist. His value is undeniable because he is every step of the way with you until a hit is made. I definitely recommend Highlife Studios and Oso.

Highlife studios is the best studio in the D.C maybe even the whole DMV..!! The engineer I worked with (AyeOso) is very talented and will always make the music come to life. I recommend recording here any day of the week. They have deals going on every other week for recording sessions. You won’t disappointed in the effort the team puts to make sure you have a great recording session. HighLife studios is the place for a creative.

Don't book with Oso. All he does is push a button to record, tax for services he isn't capable of, unprofessional and stuck on his high horse about how long he's been "making" whatever type of music he has. This guy will take your money for a mix, proscrastinate, and not produce any results. Have the nerve to call asking for more money like he actually did something. He took a whole $150 from me for a mix ( saying he doesn't do refunds ) but then his equipment is "broke" makes no sense, he seems like the jealous type that if you make music better than him, he's not going to be the type of producer you're looking for. He's a waste of time to do any type of transactions with because he's stuck in an immature state of mind. Tried to be patient with him for my previous mixes but I have a problem if you're going to call me asking for more money when you haven't even finished the first job.

Jojo was the first engineer I worked with after I moved to dc and that was over a year ago.. homie is patient, knowledgeable, talented, and just an overall good dude.. the Stu has everything you need, as in a space to record and they do podcasting.
