We originally went to Heather to get holiday pictures of the kids, but thanks to Heather, convinced me that we should take family photos. I’m so glad she convinced me. I’m not exactly comfortable and confident in front of a camera, but Heather knew exactly what to say to make me feel at ease. She even got me out of my comfort zone (I’m a suit kinda gal) to wear one of the beautiful dresses she designed! Our youngest even kept biting her lip in the picture, but Heather knew exactly how to fix that! The photo session was short and sweet, even with an outfit change and no assistant! Her edits are natural (you look exactly like you) and the turn around time was great. I would recommend Heather Gappi all day, everyday. Thank you for our beautiful pictures!

Heather has done both of my kids newborn photos and their photos are just beautiful (and I'm picky). Her new studio in Troy is amazing and she has so many props, backgrounds, florals/greenery, outfits, etc to create whatever look you want. Heather quickly responds to calls and emails and is organized. She was great to work with and most importantly she's great with kids and babies. My oftentimes prickly and shy daughter who often refuses to take photos immediately warmed up to Heather and allowed Heather to pose her. I'm stunned by the beautiful newborn and family photos she captured for us.

Heather can also be known as the baby whisperer. We had our newborn session with her today. In addition to making our family feel at home in her beautiful studio, she was always two steps ahead on what needs to be done to make your baby comfortable. Warm room, soothing sounds and positive energy radiate from her sessions as she creates beautiful memories for families like ours.
She already had a set up for Christmas as well, so anyone looking for holiday photo’s won’t find a more whimsical look than her studio, if she’s still taking holiday appointments.

First, I need to agree with the others, Heather is very personable, but unfortunately, we did not get what we paid for. We finally had our very large family together, very difficult to do since we all live across the United States, we told Heather's assistant we had a large family, and we wanted casual photos taken. We wanted a white background. Here are the final photos (notice the bench). After we expressed our disappointment, Heather offered us 20 percent off our total payment.

I booked Heather for my daughter’s newborn pictures April of 2023 and just got done with my son’s newborn pictures and can’t be more pleased with the results. I consider Heather to be the best in Metro-Detroit for baby/family pictures! She is punctual and really caters to my children durning the shoot. Heather is so easy to talk to and is always willing to work with me. I get exactly what I pay for each time! Worth every penny for a lifetime of memories, if you want the best for baby pics don’t chance it & just book with Heather👶🏻
