I was estatic that I was able to finalize my degree at the local University. I made the deans list for the 1st time. Shout out to Gradimages for having so many photographers at the ceremony. I'd like to point out that this company failed me! My photos I ordered look terrible. I would recommend having your family prepare to capture all the special moments before, during, and after the ceremony. This company is highly used by many colleges. My photo prior to being seated was supposed to display me holding my diploma...which can't be seen for the most part. It looks like I'm holding a book with no title. I have another photo I ordered of me crossing the stage which is verrrrry blurry. I wasn't happy and these are moments you can't repeat. So I called complained, and asked for new photos. The agent i spoke with told me the photo of me crossing the stage can't be edited or cleared up, that a different image needs to be selected. I choose another and just received them and they look even worse. If you can't deliver then give folks there money back. I would have rather been told that all my pictures they took sucked. Also when ordering you can't see the issues I've seen until you receive the photos you ordered due to the companies water mark images throughout the entire selection of photos you can order.

Ridiculous prices for 7 images. There is no choice to select digital. Cost to ship 2 photos at $18. They don't have any other choices. It's time for another company to offer graduation photos at a fair price and not rip off the consumer. $150 for the basic package.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. First of all, at my commencement ceremony, they rushed through the pictures so quickly that I didn't even get the chance to compose myself first - as I was obviously a bit emotional, getting my masters and all. When asked if I could retake it, of course I was denied. So, my photo with my chancellor was fugly. Then they send excessive emails just begging for your service - it got pretty ridiculous. I finally went to their website and figured I'd just pay to download the pictures - since I could get cheaper frames on Amazon. Ridiculous $135, to download 3 photos - 1 that I didn't even want - and for two 5 x 7 prints (which they have the nerve to ask if you want to pay an additional $35 to enhance). Then by the time I got to checkout, my total was a whopping $163 after taxes and $16 shipping!!! $16 TO SHIP TWO 5 X 7 PRINTS!? IN WHAT WORLD!? So, I took the prints off of course - still $108 but whatever. So, I'm supposed to receive a link to download! NEVER GOT IT AT ALL! I checked my personal and school emails, and the spam. When I contacted customer service - well attempted to at least - I got no answer at all! Sent emails...no response! Basically, I got robbed! I don't know why schools would use this place considering their reviews...it makes zero sense to me! BEWARE!!! Don't be their next victim!

Paid nearly a hundred dollars for a set of graduation photos; exorbitantly priced, sure, but if the work was professional, I wasn't going to grumble too much. However, when I received 2 sets of the pictures damaged and one photo blown up so closely that it cut off half the photo, then I have a serious complaint. They didn't even bother to cut the wallet sized pictures, just left them as a full sheet. The most basic photo services I've dealt with always take that step to professionally present the product. I attempted to contact them via their website a couple weeks back, they never responded. They don't really go out of their way to advertise their contact information, such as phone and email address, and now I can see why. To me, it appears they simply want to collect their money and move on regardless of the sub-standard quality of the work they provide. Their site says they are after 100% satisfaction. I say, they don't. The proof is in the pictures. I recommend anyone to steer well clear of this outfit. Judging by most reviews I've seen of them (objectively, not the high praise they post for themselves on their website) I am in similar company.

I should have checked the reviews before throwing my money away. With the amount of money I paid for all images on CD, I could have taken my son to a professional photographer. These images look like they are literally cut from an 80s newspaper. Very low resolution. The idea of paying so much for your images on a CD is so you can take the CD and print out your images anywhere else, but can’t do anything with these images. Horrible quality. They lower the quality of the images so they can sell additional services of “enhancing the images and touchups”… Customer service is not better either. Next step is reporting them to BBB if I don’t get what I paid for or my money back. Following that, we’ll see… good luck to you all out there; take your child to a respectable photographer; for me it’s too late as we’ve already returned The Cap And Gown. We paid more than $150 for this experience and lost opportunity to get professional photos? NO!!! Not acceptable…

Stay away from this company. They sent my child's graduation photos to the wrong address and didn't take responsibility for their fault. The customer service representative has yet to respond to our emails. The customer service number never answers your calls. Only the online ordering line answers the calls. When I gave the order number, explained the situation, and asked them to send the photos to the correct address, the representative told me he didn't know what I was talking about and that I needed to make an order again with the correct address. I will share this negative experience with the school district for not using this company for the grad pics for the coming years.

I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering. Worst customer service ever. They gave me an option to crop pictures on their website and I ordered accordingly. Received an incorrect product and I am expected to cover the shipping costs to return the item to receive a refund and my shipping costs will not be refunded. The representative decided to apologize and then say the same thing 10 times but not fix the problem. I would have given a 0 if I could. I will also be sending emails to the Universities as well. So they know what kind of company they are dealing with.
