Be careful when ordering pictures online. They have 3 different order forms with the same package numbers/letters and when ordering online it does not give you a description of what is included in your package order. I ended up with the wrong items. The only thing I still want is the team mate set. I was told I would have to order a whole new package in order to get the team mate set I want which means I would have spend another $25 on top of the $30 I already spent. I would have expected them to print the team mate set for free or at least only charge me $15 which is the cost of a normal 8x10. Suggestion: change the package identifiers (A, B, C, etc) on the order forms so there are not 3 packages with the same letters. I also had an issue with my son's school yearbook pictures (senior picture) where it looked like he had long hair because of shadowing and they refused to fix it or retake it when that is clearly their fault. They are always friendly, but I feel like quality has gone down in the last year or so. I have ordered from them for years with no problems until this past year.

A Case of Misunderstanding, Met with Professionalism and High Quality

As a photography enthusiast, I was anticipating having my film developed at Kirkwood Photo. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to learn that they do not offer this service. This was due to my misunderstanding of the services they provide. When I read that they offer photo printing, I had assumed it would encompass film development too.

However, I would like to emphasize that this misunderstanding does not diminish the high quality of service Kirkwood Photo offers. The lady at the front counter handled my error with the utmost professionalism. She was polite and understanding, which made the situation less embarrassing than it could have been.

Impressively, the premises boasted top-notch equipment that hinted at their capability to deliver heavy-duty, high-quality work. It was clear that Kirkwood Photo is a professional establishment that takes its services seriously, even if they do not include film development.

In conclusion, I'm giving Kirkwood Photo a four-star rating. While they did not provide the specific service I was looking for, their top-tier equipment and friendly staff left a positive impression. I would recommend them to anyone seeking high-quality photo printing services, but do clarify the services they offer to avoid any misunderstanding.

Be careful when purchasing pictures. We had baseball pics taken and they charged us the price of the individual items instead of the package deal which would have been a much better price.

My boys both go to Edgewood. One is in intermediate and one is in junior high. The intermediate and primary schools use Sheldon’s Photography, which my family has personally used since I was a little girl. I don’t know why the Jr high uses Kirkwood. It’s about 3 weeks now since they’ve done pictures and I still have yet to get the photos to order. Sheldon is very quick and he does amazing photography. I’m very disappointed in Kirkwood and have heard negative things about them from people I work with. Maybe next year I’ll just take my oldest to Sheldon so I know I won’t have to wait almost a month for his pictures. If you don’t mind the wait, go ahead use Kirkwood, but if you want it done quickly and want great pictures, use Sheldon. Or anyone else for that matter.

Sent out a flyer for senior pictures with no dates on it, called to schedule on July 28, lady answering the phone said she wasn't able to schedule dates and to send an email. Sent email, never heard back, then called back on 8/1 and was told it was for just June and July. Had other friends call in on August 2 and get scheduled. Terrible customer service, lady on the phone was very sarcastic and rude. So glad we won't have to deal with this company ever again. Very misleading.

Kirkwood photo was very helpful when I needed a large photo made of my niece for her memorial service. Emma was so gracious and helpful. The staff went above and beyond, even including wallet size photo's that I could give out at her service. The kindness they showed meant so much to my grieving family.
