Awesome photo studio with lots of windows for natural lighting and unique sets. I would say you can see the wear in some of the sets, it would be nice if the sets were touched up and some of the furniture really needs to be replaced. Besides that amazing studio, highly recommended!!!

First time! Great atmosphere, has the old architecture I love...business of l.a. scene,multiple studios w dancers, photo shoots,music going on. Amazing experience with my photographer this being her favorite room of the building. Would definitely book again.
UPDATE:
UNFORTUNATELY MY PHOTOGRAPHER WAS A SCAM SHE TOOK MY MONEY AND I NEVER GOT MY PHOTOS FROM THIS SESSION.

This place is staffed by experienced personnel that know how to set up both backdrops/seamless as well as strobe lighting that works with Canon/Nikon DSLRs. I did a very successful shoot in half an hour actually. It went flawlessly. PS: Pro photographer needs to know how to utilize the strobes with remote trigger.

This place could be great but it seems like it's really gone downhill... the walls and backdrops are all beat up and the place was filthy. The floors were covered in dirt and hair, The furniture was dirty, the props were sticky. One of the lights was literally taped together.
Oh and half of the outlets were dead.

It's still possible get good photos here but I was disappointed in how poorly maintained it has become.

Great studio! First time there tonight and we had a Christmas themed room in pink in white. Very open and clean studio and the staff was very friendly and abiding by mask and social distancing protocols.

Highly recommend and will be back!

Absolutely AMAZING photo/film studio in DTLA!
Great rates and there is literally a room for EVERYTHING! We shot in the rain room and the photographs were next level! Staff are courteous and really know what they are doing and the pricing is extremely reasonable for what you're getting.

The ideas are great- but the results are not. We rented the studio for two different sets and were disappointed.
1. the ideas are not thought through: the back of the rain-set is not fully coverable with the curtain... means that you have an ugly window and huge fan in your black pictures... a lot of photoshop needed
2. not all the equipment is working properly
3. it‘s disgustingly dirty, which is especially bad in an area, where you are not allowed to wear shoes. They seem to not clean the place (see pictures) at all. There was an old used blaster in that area, dirt on the floor and everywhere. There‘s no other word than disgusting for that. The photographer walked the floor in his socks for only 4 little steps and had tons of hair, dust and dirt on it.
