I really can’t thank Emily enough for all the little moments she has captured for my husband and I! I came across Emily’s Instagram page when I began my search for a wedding photographer. I searched hashtags for Ohio Weddings and kept clicking on photos I loved, all of which were Emily’s! I reached out right away and from our first FaceTime call, I knew she’d be the one to capture our Big Day. We had the opportunity to meet Emily during our engagement shoot in which she drove all the way from Columbus to Akron and spent the day with us, truly getting to know us as a couple, getting us comfortable in front of the camera and ensuring she knew how to get the great shot and genuine expressions from us for our wedding day. Needless to say, we got those engagement photos back and were blown away. Fast forward to our October 5th wedding and she absolutely exceeded our expectations of what our wedding photos would look like. It gave us such a piece of mind during that day knowing she was going to be capturing our biggest moments and that we could just truly enjoy the moment and soak it all in. We receive endless compliments on our photos and I think that says it all about Emily. She is such a genuine person and it shows through her work. If you are looking for a laid back, hard working, easy going, and someone you can trust to capture all the little details, Emily is your girl! We our now expecting our first child and we are working on getting a date on the calendar for our newborn family session with Emily. Thank you, Emily, for continuing to capture some of our favorite moments in life!

I cannot say enough great things about Emily. From the start I knew she was a great fit because of her personality and humor, which I knew would be important since we'd be together all day on my wedding day. She also has such a special photographing/editing style - I knew my photos would be something I would hang up as art rather than just because they were portraits, which made me very excited to work with her.

We emailed back and forth a lot and were in pretty constant communication, she did a great job of answering any/all questions I had about pretty much everything possible.

On the day of, I had so much fun with her there and she fit in with our bridal party so well, it was like having another friend there to help us celebrate! She made sure we had all of the pictures we wanted before she left for the evening, which I really appreciated.

We got our previews from the day on the last night of our honeymoon and they had us emotional in the hotel restaurant, she just did an incredible job capturing not just our love for one another, but the personalities of every single person who was part of our day. Emily did our engagement photos last year, and our wedding photos this past Saturday. She is so easy going and great to work with! She is the only photographer to ever make me feel comfortable getting my picture taken. She is down to travel and adventure in the woods, which are two things that are important to us. I hope to work with her again in the future for holiday or family pictures once the time comes for that!
The photographer was one of the most important vendor choices since your pictures are one of the few things you have left after the wedding and we couldn't imagine working with anyone else. We don't have our pictures back yet, but I am more than confident that they are well worth the investment. Cannot recommend her enough!

I’m so glad we found Emily for our engagement photos! As excited as I was to get photos taken, I’m not totally comfortable posing for photos and usually feel awkward. Emily made everything fun and comfortable and took such natural looking photos of us. She helped us find the perfect spots in Yellow Springs and our engagement photos seriously look like us. I feel like she really captured our personalities which was so important to me!

Emily was such a pleasure to work with! I’d followed her for a LONG time before actually scheduling a session - just because I love her work! I participated in her fall mini session this year which ran like clockwork. You can tell from working with her that she has ample experience getting clients comfortable in front of the lens and capturing organic moments. And the turnaround was so fast for the minis! We maybe waited 4 days? Which is unprecedented in my experience and greatly appreciated. After our shoot, she hung out with my husband and I under a picnic awning waiting out rain after our session and kept us entertained with conversation and snacks.
