This is a long overdue post of praise for Ms. Elizabeth Lloyd, wedding photographer extraordinaire, who captured our beautiful wedding last year, April 26, 2013. When my husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Mexico, we accepted that finding quality vendors would likely be a more difficult task than if we stayed in Los Angeles. Luckily, our wedding coordinators The Dazzling Details provided us with a list of photographers they worked with in the past and that came highly recommended by their past brides. Elizabeth's portfolio caught our eye, we loved the type of shots she captured - natural, candid, emotional and cinematic. We contacted her to discuss our thoughts about the type of photography we had in mind and we remarked after that conversation that we felt on the same wavelength and that we felt confident that we would be in great hands with Elizabeth. Finding our photographer turned out to be surprisingly easy!

On the day of, I was a nervous wreck as I'm sure most brides are. Elizabeth came by to say a quick hello to me and then I felt like she (and her fantastic second shooter Dave Getzschman) melted into the day seamlessly. My husband and I are, quite honestly, not great at taking lovey dovey photos. In fact, we skipped engagement photos entirely because we were so uncomfortable with the idea of them. Despite this, Elizabeth and Dave worked together and made us feel so comfortable and did a fantastic job capturing our elation and love and the excitement of that day. Our photos are so natural and relaxed and are the absolute perfect representation of our day.

Elizabeth, you are such a lovely lady and a fantastic photographer. Thank you so much for taking such beautiful photos of a day that we'll never forget.

I knew what I wanted my photos to look like for my wedding but i didn't know how to accomplish it. Enter Elizabeth Lloyd. It's like she read my mind. Not only did she capture every moment, she was able to capture the feelings of the wedding and in the most beautiful environment and way. She scouted some locations for outdoor shots in addition to scouting options in case it rained! She was shooting on the floor, she was shooting on chairs, she has the most perfect eye. Her artistic ability is truly unmatched and more importantly, she was a blast to work with! She was fun and was laughing with us the whole night. I can not recommend her enough!
