We got married in October, and we can't rave enough about Darnell! When I mentioned we were having a LEGO-themed wedding, Darnell really stood out among our potential photographers for his enthusiasm about the idea. He did a great job asking questions to understand our vision, and he gave lots of helpful advice leading up to the wedding (seemingly simple things like reminding us that walking from one location to another could make us sweat, which, um, hadn't occurred to us). On the day of our wedding he was efficient (especially good at working with kids in photos), and he captured a great mix of formal and candid shots. He was also friendly, fun to work with, and just a general delight to have present. As we expected, the final photos ended up looking great!

Me and my brothers had the opportunity to throw my mom a 60th birthday party. While looking for photographers, my mom suggested DSQ Photography. She was familiar with DSQ from another function. The process of booking for the event was seamless. (The site is user friendly…a plus)!! On the day of the event, Darnell was amazing. The photographs from the event were phenomenal. He even stayed later to make sure my mom was able to take photos with those she didn’t get a chance to during the allotted time.
