Carlyn Photography was a great choice for our wedding. First of all, my fiance and I don't live in Jackson; however, Carlyn and Derrick worked around our busy schedules and were very accommodating when we needed to reschedule our session. It was a gloomy and rainy day on the day we scheduled our engagement photos, but Derrick didn't let that ruin our pictures nor our spirits. He kept the mood light by making jokes, used an umbrella as a prop and created pictures that were better than we could imagine. The level of professionalism is top notch, and their prices are very reasonable. We're happy to have chosen Carlyn Photography for our wedding and we would recommend them to any engaged couple!

Carlyn Photography is the absolute best. Derrick and Carlyn did so much for me. They even gave advice on finding a wedding cake. My husband was 12 hours away, so it was hard giving them exact dates for my engagement pictures, because I did not know exactly when I would be able to take them. My husband came home on short notice and Carlyn Photography schedule me immediately. My hair was not done, and everything was last minute but Derrick and Carlyn made this experience great and my pictures were AMAZING!! On the day of the wedding, I was so busy doing things and fixing thing, that I felt like I was running out of time, and thats when Derrick, the photographer, step in and help finish decorating, so I could go get dressed for the wedding. Therefore, I say that Carlyn Photography is the absolute best. They treat as if they have known you forever, not like a client and only looking for money. They put their heart and soul into their work and the outcome is worth every penny, you may spend. Everytime I pull out engagement pictures and my wedding album, with a huge smile on my face, I recommend them for everything. So from the bottom of my heart, I thank you, Derrick and Carlyn, you guys made our special day more than what we ever dreamed and we are forever thankful. In the near future I will be calling for MATURNITY PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!

Carlyn Photography helped to make my journey to the alter one I'll never forget!! We had our engagement session shot by Derrick, and he was very talented to say the least!! He has a keen eye for a great shot, and was very funny, friendly, and simply easy to work with. Our finished product was more than what we could have asked for! Our pictures turned out spectacular and all of our friends and family were in awe of the pictures that were taken. They develop a relationship with you and your partner, so they are in tune with your needs. They are flexible and easily accessible too!!! THIS IS A MUST for on the go engaged couples who are bust with work schedules, children AND the demanding needs of the wedding planning process. I would text/ call them all the time, and they were ALWAYS receptive to our needs. Carlyn Photography is by far the best photographers in the Jackson Metro area. They did our engagement shoot as well as our wedding. They were very professional and went above and beyond the call of duty. Derrick has the greatest eye ever. He captured every moment with elegance and precision. Our photos were returned to us in a timely manner and wowed us beyond measure. They are very inexpensive and the quality of their work is amazing. Carlyn Photography is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Hands down. My fiance and I had our engagement session shot by Derrick. This man has a personality that makes his clients feel as comfortable as possible! Although I was a tad-bit uptight and cold, Derrick did his absolute best to make sure that we had an incredible shoot! He prepared us for what we can expect on wedding day (the camera). I am a very shy person, so my mind was relaxed but my body wasn't lol. But viewing our photos, I fell in LOVE! They are just amazing.
