Busath has been our family photographer for decades, providing us with beautiful family and occasion photographs.

Last fall we were fortunate enough to participate in the Tuscany photography workshop with Drake. I am an amateur photographer and my husband is not particularly interested in photography. The experience exceeded our expectations, giving us fond memories and stunning photographs that we will always cherish.

Busath was first recommended to me by a friend in high school when I was searching for a top-tier photographer for my senior photos. They exceeded my expectations, delivering beautiful images. Later, when it was time for my mission photos, I worked with a different photographer at Busath. While the images were good, they didn’t quite capture what I had envisioned. Without hesitation, the owner personally arranged a reshoot, ensuring everything turned out perfectly. I just wanted to express my gratitude for the beautiful family portraits that we had taken at Busath in July. We had 23 people in the group, 10 of them were grandchildren ages six and under (four of them were only four months old!) and Richard and his father Drake and their assistant did an incredible job of taking the shots and making everyone look their best! Nothing short of a miracle! It was a portrait that I had hoped for, for many years. The setting was beautiful and the entire experience from the original consultation to express what we wanted, to the actual photo session, and then coming in to see the proofs was all very professional and friendly. We would recommend Busath for anyone wishing to create heirloom quality photographs. It was a great experience from start to finish!

Italy Workshops with Drake Busath are some of the best trips I have been on. Drake is an incredibly talented and helpful photo instructor that takes you to the most photogenic spots in Italy. The Portofino Coast & Cinque Terre are beautiful picturesque areas of Italy. Drake showed us areas we would never find on our own. He knew all the best restaurants, I’ve never eaten so well, so much! Our base hotel in Camogli was one of the nicest hotels at which I have ever stayed. Attached to this review is a picture of the stunning view from my room. Our fun group was made up of different photographic skill levels but Drake has a knack for bouncing from one to the other offering advice on how to improve their images helping with camera settings, compositions, everything needed to come home with great pictures. It would be hard to not end up a better photographer. This was my second photo trip with Drake, there will definitely be a third!

We decided to focus wedding funds on photography, and that's why we picked Busath. Richard Busath and Laura Casey photographed our engagements and wedding, and we absolutely loved working with both of them. They were fun, professional, and ended up being incredibly helpful with getting us through our reception on a decent schedule. They interacted great with the guests and captured everything we wanted. The studio was also very responsive, courteous, and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend!

Busath always does such quality work! We have come to them when each of my kids have turned 3 years old, to have a nice photo taken of them. The photos always turn out beautiful. The grounds at Busath are built for photo taking, with many cool photo op spots. Their photographers are too notch and also know how to get little kids to smile (even if the kid is tough to crack). I highly recommend this well-established business. It's a staple in the community of Salt Lake City!
