I wasn't going to use Blu Moon, but this is my first senior and I decided to go with them since that is who the school was using. I do not plan to use this photographer when my next child graduates. The prices for the packages are extremely high for what you get. I bought one of the smallest print packages with 2 poses and it comes with a huge amount of wallets which I don't want. You can only get 1 pose for each size of the portrait. I wanted to just get the digital prints, but they are so much more expensive than the print option. Then it takes 3 weeks to even get the pictures. The school is requesting a senior picture for the ceremony and has a deadline for it. I will not get the pictures before the deadline. I asked if they could just send me 1 picture to give to the school before the deadline since I had already purchased them. They said they could for $50 and a $15 rush fee. So an additional $65 on top of the hundreds I've already paid along with an $80 sitting fee. I will definitely go to a different photographer with my my next graduate. I do not recommend Blu Moon.

We had the pleasure of working with Blu Moon Photography, and I can’t say enough good things about our photographer, Sage. From start to finish, he brought genuine energy, creativity, and care to every shot. His direction wasn’t just “turn this way, turn that way” — you could tell this is an art to him, not just a job. He staged and posed us with intention and confidence, making the whole experience feel smooth and fun.

We haven’t even seen the final photos yet, but I already know they’re going to be incredible. You can just feel it when someone’s that locked in. Big shoutout to Sage — and also to the adorable puppy who made the day even more special for our girls. Highly recommend!

I made a mistake when ordering my digital photos and only selected 12 but one was a duplicate. I call today and within a few hours, somebody responded and is making it right!! I really appreciate the great customer service!

We have twins who are graduating this year (2025) and pictures are a big part of the process. Blu Moon has a great location that provides many differing backgrounds. The staff is very helpful a and accommodating, but I want to give special recognition to Kathy who greets everyone and helps with any questions or concerns. After the photo sessions I needed help navigating the digital proofs and order page. Kathy was very helpful, and most importantly, patient as I selected my favorites. She is definitely an asset to Blu Moon and can help with your senior’s picture needs.

I tried multiple times to book an appointment online weeks before the yearbook deadline, but there were no available appointments showing up. My daughter and I both called and left messages but never spoke to anyone. We gave up, so she won't have a Senior photo in the yearbook. We only tried to use you because the school required us to. You have not earned our business!

Update:
I appreciate your response to my concern. To clarify, your flyer did say to book a session online or to call the studio (which we tried to do multiple times). Yes, the deadline was months ago, and I apologize for not complaining sooner. Clearly, a poor review gets a quicker response than simply calling the studio multiple times.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Justyce at Blue Moon Photography for my son’s senior graduation pictures, and she was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, she was enthusiastic and ready to guide us through the process. Despite the challenges we faced due to the storm and Hurricane Burrow, the owner of Blue Moon kept in constant contact with us, providing options and rescheduling when necessary—a level of customer service that truly speaks volumes.

Blue Moon Photography is the preferred photographer for our school, and now I see why. The facility was perfectly set up to meet the school’s requirements, making it incredibly easy for us as parents to get things done. We opted to not only do the cap and gown and yearbook photos but also senior pictures, and it was one of the best decisions we made.

Justyce, our photographer, was exceptional. Her patience, attention to detail, and ability to make my son feel comfortable were remarkable. She expertly guided him through each pose, and the expressions she captured left me excited to see the final photos. Even after the session, she took the time to explain the next steps, ensuring we knew exactly what to expect—something that put my mind at ease.

If you’re considering Blue Moon Photography for senior pictures or any school-related photos, I highly recommend them. The level of professionalism, care, and expertise they offer is top-notch. I can’t wait to share the pictures once we receive them, but for now, I wanted to express my gratitude for such a wonderful experience.

Had a great experience during the photo shoot; however, after that the experience was horrible. Received proof of pictures almost 4 weeks later and did not receive all pictures, after sending one email and having to follow up with 4 voicemails we were finally able to get all the pictures (never got a call back). After this delay, found out it would take approximately 3 additional weeks to receive digital orders. Mind you, prices are ridiculous - 4 poses are $349, 8 poses are $549, etc. and you still have to wait 3 weeks. Really unfortunate that they have ruined this experience and made it more stressful than it needed to be. Now having to find another photographer last minute to expedite pictures. You will most likely find better service at much better prices somewhere else.

I am so grateful for them taking my daughter's senior pictures, but the prices were kind of expensive. I was really hoping they would let me purchase all of the poses digitally at a reasonable price. But they wanted $100 for each pose. Or $50 each with the purchase of a $80 package!!
As most of you know, senior year is already super expensive between prom, graduation, invitations, etc... My daughter's pictures did come out looking great, though.
