Wow!!! Where can I start?!

Breakdown: From day one of contact Emilie was the sweetest, easiest person to talk to. She is so fun to bounce your own ideas off of and has the BEST ideas for absolutely amazing shots on top of making you feel like more than just a client. We could absolutely not recommend her more!

Long story:

From the first conversation we had, talking to Emilie was like talking to an old friend. The comfort, the ease, the warmth.

We sadly had Hurricane Helene try and take out our wedding day plans. With all other vendors having to cancel because of damage, being stranded with no way out of local towns, etc. Everything felt like it was falling apart. I called Emilie, in tears and panic thinking maybe we would have to cancel the wedding and try again in a couple years when we could get the date we wanted at the venue we wanted again. She starting brainstorming with me and quickly became our rock in the process of making it work. She starting working with our venue (also amazing but that’s for another review), ended up being one of our only two witnesses, plus our officiant, along with being our photographer. Because of her creativity and quick thinking we were able to still have our day, on the day we wanted.

Emilie became more than our wedding photographer that day, she became a friend and an amazing piece of the story of us.

Appalachian wedding photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Emily is amazing to work with and is extremely detailed, which took a lot of weight off of me. As someone who's not particularly comfortable behind the camera, she made everything feel casual and easy for me while capturing some of the most special moments of my life. She was professional while still seeming like a friend and working with her was wonderful. All our family and friends also talked about how great the photos turned out ☺️

We also did our engagement shoot with her and stayed in her cabin. Those photos turned out beautifully and we used them on our wedding invitations. She also made us our wedding album, which was gorgeous and we still look at often.

I can't recommend Appalachian Wedding Photography enough. They're worth every penny and we have amazing memories now to cherish forever and to look at.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Emilie was the ideal photographer for our wedding in January. She executed our vision perfectly, was so easy and understanding to work with, and the photos came out better than I could’ve ever hoped for. She captured our small, intimate wedding and reception beautifully and I couldn’t be more grateful for her! She also went above and beyond just being a photographer, and spent the entire night making sure my hair never looked out of place (which was VERY important!!)
