We called Fletcher at Aperture Vision only a few months before our wedding and let him know we needed a photographer on short notice for a small wedding at Cannon Beach. Right away he was obliged and excited to work with us even though this was our first time connecting. He kept in contact with us right up to the wedding and showed up exactly on time at the location of our wedding. He was immensely helpful in guiding us and helping us understand the right angles and lighting to make the best pictures. Had a lot of creative fun ideas and was flexible in going to multiple locations with our family. We were blown away by the level of expertise and professionalism for a photographer we found on such short notice.

I could not recommend Aperture Vision enough to anyone looking for a photographer for any occasion. These pictures speak for themselves!

Aperture Vision Photography is the best choice you can make for your wedding pictures in the Portland area, and it's really not close. Fletcher excels at all of the following and more: photography, photo editing, price point, professionalism, experience, and personability. He made us feel comfortable in both our engagement shoot and the wedding itself. He met with us at least 3 times prior to the wedding to discuss our wants, needs, and timeline and was responsive throughout the process. If you're uncomfortable in front of the camera, he will still make you look fantastic (perhaps his best quality). Overall, he was our favorite wedding vendor! Wedding planning is stressful, but you won't have to worry at all about photography if you hire him because he's fantastic. We loved Fletcher and his team!! I think his website/blog speaks for itself but in case it doesn't, it's so wonderful to work with someone who loves their job, and works extra hard to make every wedding they shoot special in its own way. They're organized, professional but also fun! We had certain locations picked out for our engagement shoot and Fletcher made them work, including involving our dog which we LOVED! On our wedding day, we had a big group, which can be difficult, but they were pros and got so many great shots of our wedding. Aperture came recommended by two other couples we know that have worked with them and I'm so glad we took their advice! Thank you again Fletcher and team!!

We were extremely pleased with our photos and experience! Fletcher was easy to work with for both bridal portraits and on our wedding day. He graciously answered all of our many questions and was very flexible in order to accommodate our wedding day timeline and our wishes for our wedding photographs. Fletcher and his team were very professional and made us feel very relaxed on our wedding day, which is something that every bride should feel being caught up in the stress of the day. He provided us with a timeline that we were able to adjust to what worked best for our wedding day, which was very helpful to plan the events of the evening. He photographed all the moments that we asked for, and was able to capture other amazing shots that were absolutely incredible. We also had to reschedule our engagement session to take place after our wedding due to some unexpected health problems with our dog. He was very understanding, and he made it very easy to reschedule our session with him, which isn't easy since my husband and I have very different work schedules that are difficult to work around. We absolutely love all of our photos that Fletcher and his team captured on our wedding day and during our engagement session, and I don't think that we could have chosen anyone better to capture our special day!

Fletcher’s work is beautiful and his photographs of our wedding were a wonderful blend of capturing the details, providing a story of the days events and pure photographic artistry. Our wedding pictures are beyond what we could have imagined. But the icing on the cake is Fletcher himself. Not only is he organized and professional but he is also just a genuinely nice person. He really tried to get to know our personalities and what we were looking for in our wedding photos the first time he met us over coffee. I believe he was able to hone in on who we were as people, which he captured in the photographs. Fletcher did a family photo shoot for us and it was a great experience from beginning to end! His communication was prompt and clear prior to the shoot, and helped us with lots of tips for picture day so that we would be the best prepared.

I will be honest I was pretty nervous about our 2 rambunctious small kids, but Fletcher was so kind and patient the day of the shoot, and was able to capture quite a few precious moments that we weren’t even always aware were happening! His turn-around time on the photos was fast, and we are so happy to have memorialized this crazy but fleeting time in our family’s life. We highly recommend Aperture Vision Photography!
