I had an empowerment photo session with Amy that I was fortunate enough to win through a giveaway.
I was initially so excited, but the nerves quickly set in the day of the session. Within a half hour of being with Amy I felt completely comfortable and excited. The whole session was SO fun!

The biggest thing I was nervous about is that I don't find myself to be an incredibly strong or "sexy" person. I was nervous that my photos would be cute but wouldn't include the vibes I was hoping for.
At the photo reveal I was amazed at what she was able to capture and bring out in me. I feel cute, beautiful, sexy, strong and so many other ways that I don't know how to capture in words. The best part is that I still feel like ME. It showed me that I am all of those things and they all exist in me.

I can't thank or recommend Amy enough!

I was so much more comfortable than I thought I would ever be. From the beginning Amy and Kat made me feel so comfortable and beautiful, even while taking my photos Amy would say ‘beautiful’ or ‘powerful’ and it made me feel amazing! I was worried I would feel awkward and that it would show on camera but Amy truly does talk you through even pose, even going above and beyond getting into the pose herself to show you! This really is boudoir for every body.

Going into this session, I was really excited to meet Amy and get some photos afterwards that looked cute. What I didn't expect was to feel so honored and loved by these heartfelt women that I had never met before.
Not only did I feel safe and comfortable throughout my session, even when I was walking around nearly blind, but I felt happier in this few hours than I have for a very long time. Part of me is still struggling to believe this session was real because of the pure joy and care that I experienced from Amy and her team. I could not have imagined the positivity that filled that studio and I cannot wait to do it again!
Not only did I cry in anticipation of seeing my images, but I cried reviewing them and looking through them afterwards! As a fat girl who holds all of her weight in her stomach, it's hard to find representation of my body and images and media that help me feel good about how I look. Seeing these photos of myself looking so powerful and joyful and hearing the reactions not only from Amy and Christina, but also from some of my best friends, gave me confidence in my body and my self that I haven't had in a very long time. I am so very thankful to Amy for helping me to find that power in myself, and I know that having these images to look back at will continue to impact me for a very long time.
