My husband and I absolutely loved working with Michael for our wedding last Saturday. By the Monday after our wedding, Mike had all of the photos to us! And they were wonderful! He did a great job capturing all the little moments of the day and was a huge contributor to a smooth wedding day. It was a rainy day and Mike did everything he could to sneak us out in between the rain drops to get some incredible photos. He was super friendly with every member of our family and acted like he knew us all for years. Can’t thank Mike enough!! Will recommend him to friends and family for any occasion!

I called Molinski Photography for my daughters senior photos even though I read the reviews, some of which were not so nice. I spoke with the owner Michael he was very kind explaining all of his packages and all he had to offer I explained that my daughter wanted her photos taken at this particular place that was well over an hour drive for him. He did not hesitate, he was prompt he was professional, he was fun and most importantly he was patient. He did not ask for more money due to the drive he took his time- before our shoot was over he asked my daughter if there was any place else he didn’t photograph her that she would like. Her photos came out breathtakingly beautiful.. and I received all photos that I paid for!

Reviews are great but honestly sometimes you just have to have faith in people and their ability without allowing the judgments of others deter you.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY NEEDS! My daughter and son in-law have been married for one year as of December 30, 2024. We paid $5k for Michael and Nicole Molinski to be their wedding photographers. We have not received anything we paid for. We started trying to contact them in the spring and we were consistently being ghosted. After threatening to take legal action my daughter received a message from Mike letting her know how to go about picking the photos for her albums, thank yous etc. That was back in May 2023 and it was the last time we heard from him. One of the saddest things about this whole situation is that my husband, who was an FDNY firefighter, passed away from a 9/11 illness before our daughter’s wedding. Mike Molinski knew this but clearly could care less. I sent emails, texts, phone calls and fb messages basically begging him to please give us the wedding albums. We got no response. Finally we took him to small claims court. I knew he wouldn’t show up because another person had put a review on Facebook saying she did the same thing. When we appeared in court the judge made a point of saying that he had several cases coming up against Molinski Photography. He was clearly very annoyed and immediately said we won our case. Now we are going through the process of trying to collect our money. I am writing this review because I don’t want anyone else going through what we are dealing with. Trust me when I say find another photographer! Mike Molinski is a total scam artist!!!

BE CAREFUL! I see some good experiences but I'm one of the cases where this guy completely screwed us. Took pictures, took payment for framed pictures and delivered nothing. He'd originally answer calls and give excuses about being sick. Then eventually stopped answering calls. It's been almost a year now since I paid him for NOTHING. My family took him to small claims court and he didn't show. This guy doesn't deserve your business. You've been warned!

Mike was fun and professional. Our maternity/engagement pictures came out beautifully. He is reasonably priced and his turn around time editing is fast. We called him to consult one day and the next day were taking the pictures. He helped us pick a beautiful outdoor space, was open to all our suggestions and ideas, made a bunch of his own and together we created a beautiful album that was tons of fun to make. We were really happy with the overall experience. We’d love to hire him for our wedding! 5 star recommendation! ☺️

As the maid of honor for my sisters wedding I am horrified at the treatment she received from this “professional” After he shot and “lost” her engagement photos that were included in her wedding package, he decided it would be good business to run off with her deposit. He did not respond to any of her multiple emails, phone calls and never contacted her again to reschedule these photos and he was a no show to her wedding. She received no services from this man and yet he thinks it’s okay to not return the $900 deposit. I would not recommend this business for your big day. He has shown that he is unreliable, unprofessional, and does not follow through with his services. I would not recommend booking with this business unless you want to spend your planning time looking for another photographer. Absolutely deplorable to do to someone.

Edit: As we near the 1 year mark of my sisters wedding Molinksy Photography still has not contacted her, nor repaid her $900 deposit.

I don't recommend Molinski photography at all. When calling to book a photographer for my wedding I spoke with Michael who was friendly and personable. This ended up being a bait and switch. After paying a deposit Michael became extremely difficult to reach and was unresponsive. I had to make multiple efforts to get ahold of Michael ( emails, texts and calls) to attempt to schedule engagement photos. After several weeks Michael finally scheduled a day for photos. He insisted on meeting at "golden hour" then had us meet in an abandoned lot with no sunset light for photos. After the one month turn around time Michael did not send the engagement photos. I reached out again.. many times via text, emails and calls. After two months went by Michael finally called back and stated all photos were lost with no way to recover them. Michael blamed his children for breaking the sd card. Michael offered a retake the following day which we were unable to attend. That was the last we heard from Michael. He has not attempted to reach out, has not responded to an email. Michael did not show up to the wedding to take photos. Thankfully we hired another photographer after realizing Molinski photography is a terrible business and has no interest in customer service. I would never recommend Molinski, it was incredibly stressful and expensive to have to pay for save the dates we didnt recieve and hire another photographer even though Michael breached his own contract and did not return our deposit.
